Hi, Elizabeth. I haven't seen this issue in the two books I validated.
Like Dan, I only have access to speech. I did run the spellchecker on
both books and found a few scannos that way. Nothing major though. I
would expect Kurzweil to complain in rank spelling about words that
are run together. In Microsoft Word, Jaws usually pronounces words
oddly if they are run together. I wish I knew what is causing what you
see in Braille. The books will go through the Braille translator on
Bookshare before going into the collection. Maybe it will standardize
the appearance of the books. I wish I had a Braille display so I could
see what you do.
