Hi all,
Ha, you're doing better than I. All I could remember before I went looking was the tune and the first line. <sigh> My father used to sing it on occasion. Funny what one remembers. He knew all the old, old songs. Oh, no, now I have to go look up "Believe me if all those indearing young charms". Help! I'm going to be on google all night if this keeps up! I know the tunes but not the lyrics, or part of the lyrics but not the whole thing. I hope it doesn't get so bad I have to go hunting up my guitar.
Actually, the story behind "Believe me if all those endearing..." is quite interesting. If you don't know it, remind me to tell you.
