Yes, I did. I asked him to please find out what th
official bookshare polcy is and to post here on the
list. Of course, those who are blind can't  use bold
and italics because they can't see them--and I assume
validate without the books. But as more sighted
volunteers validate and scan, it becomes more of an
issue. If we're supposed to be as true as possible to
the author's intent, then it seems to me we should use
the various fonts, although chapter and section
headings and subheadings may be more the publisher's
decisions and thus, if the author has the copyright,
that probably wouldn't matter.

Hopefully we'll get the answer soon. I didn't write
until after 5:30 p.m.
