I loved Tale of Two Cities, but thought Oliver Twist was pathologically over-the-top. It was too unrealistic to even be very depressing. Oh, the awful life he had in the workhouse and orphanage situations was realistic enough, but the plot was so melodramatic it kind of lost me. Kellie
