Gerald I never said that K1000 didn't use the same daisy files as Victor Soft; of course, they do. As for the Chafee amendment, I think that BookShare's requirement of a password unlocking the files covers them there. Keep in mind, that the unpacking tool can create xml and html files which are hardly proprietary formats. So a raw file could be packed as part of the archived bundle only accessible following the entry of a correct password like the rest of the package.
