Hi, Donna!  Thanks for your concern.  Fortunately, I am not from an area that 
was impacted by the hurricanes.  As things turned out, my situation occurred 
right on the heels of Hurricane Rita.

I had been out of town for a two-day business trip, and when I got home, the 
icemaker on my refrigerator had been leaking (actually, gushing would probably 
be a better word for it!)/  As I mentioned in my earlier post, none of the 
furniture was damaged, but the flooring in my kitcvhen, foyer, hallways, dining 
room, and part of the living room will have to be replaced.  I'll also get new 
carpet everywhere except the bedrooms, which were not affected.

And yes, while the hotel I'm in is very comfortable, quiet and clean, I will be 
oh-so-glad to be home!  I've been trying to figure out how to get my rocking 
chair up here... But I doubt I'll go to all the trouble. <LOL>

with everything, I'm so sorry for your loss. Were you able to save any of your 
personal belongings? I gather you'll go back to your house, but only after much 
work. Well, that's better than losing it altogether, but must be very 
stressful. I was going to ask when you thought you could go back, but I gather 
from your message that you don't know yet.  Are you getting sick of hotel 
living yet?  

    Anyway, I'm impressed that you're still scanning under such a huge 
disruption in your life.

    Hi, everyone!  Last week I noticed that "Your Best Life Now," by Joel 
Osteen, is on the new wishlist.  I bought this book several months ago and 
haven't had the time to scan it.  Yesterday, when I went by my house to pick up 
a few things, I brought it back to the hotel to scan.  Additionally, I also 
have books 7 through 9 of the Zion Covenant series, "Hadassah," by Tommy 
Tinney, and a couple that I can't remember the titles. <Smile>  I just started 
"Your Best Life Now" tonight, and I hope to have it submitted early in the 
week.  Gotta have something to do while they're tearing up my house! <LOL>  
Just when I think I can go home, there's another delay, so I'm done with trying 
to figure it out.  I'll just stay put until the damage has all been discovered 
and all the problems fixed. <Smile>
