That's how my braille learning chess book does it, names the squares by the letter and number of the rank and file or in non chess speak, the collumn and row. The book will tell you which is supposed to be numbered and which lettered. . You are truly devoted. You rock! For example one says The white rook at d5 can move along any of these four paths. Then it has red arrows on the picture showing where the piece can move. It also tells how to name the squares. I assume I would say where each piece is with the number and letter combination of the square? -- Jamie in Michigan Currently Reading: Too Big To Miss by Sue Ann Jaffarian www.michrxtech.com/books.html _____ This e-mail and any attachments to it are confidential and are intended solely for use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
