I know some textbooks that would fit under fiction very nicely!

Subject
[bksvol-discuss] Categories

I would like to suggest a category. Books that are about current events,
public affairs or government--these sort of run together at times--are
classified as simply nonfiction or history. Something that happened a
short time ago is history, but I don't think of yesterday's news headlines
that way. I'm wondering if a new category could be added.

Secondly, the categories are in no particular order and I have noticed
that books which are fiction may also have, for example, a history
designation because they are set in the past. I think of history as
nonfiction. I was wondering if the categories could be classified under
nonfiction and fiction categories. For example, mysteries, science
fiction, romance and such would be under literature and fiction while
animals, sports, travel, textbooks and such would be under nonfiction.
