Actually it was

Joseph Had a little Overcoat Simms Taback 2000

And you know I have to agree with them. I am seeing some truly great
literature in these, but of course they had better be, being that the
Caldecott is the "best picture book" of that publication year, and the
Newberry is the "best juvenile novel"

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.

Is this by the same author as the other two? David
Weisner?

I know there are audio books for kids. Wouldn't it be
great if the Caldecott books were in audo books and
could be put from audio into Word? I doubt the
Caldecott books are on audio tapes, but I'll
check, just for fun, when I go to the library. If so,
and the descrbies the pictures, I could transcribe
what he or she says and would be sure I was describing
the picture in the best possible way.
