Or you could go in their offices and tape down the button so they can't answer their phone. A long time ago when phones had two parts with the receiver and the base, I taped down the buttons on the base of the phone so that even when they lifted the receiver, the phone still kept ringing! I did that one April Fool's Day to several of the people in my office! I think I also taped cardboard or paper or something across the arms of their chairs so they would have to remove it before they sat down! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cindy" <popularplace@xxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 15, 2005 8:45 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] CSUN I've just returned from a lovely, albeit too short, visit with E(lizabeth) and Donna and Elizabeth's sighted sister, who came down from San Jose for the day --Burton and Petra, Elizabeth's and Donna's dogs. I'm so glad I got to meet them and now have faces to go with the posts on the list; and they have my voice, I guess. I hope those of you who go to the conference can have some kind of get-together. I'll be there in spirit. Maybe someone can take a group picture and e-mail it to me. Maybe next year I'll be able to go later in the week. Have fun you who are there. Now, Sue and Kellie, what can we do while they're gone? TP their offices? That doesn't seem very original. Oh -- how about blowing up balloons and filling Pratik's and Peter's office *completely* with them so they can't get in? We did that to an assistant-principal's office once and it was lots of fun. And/or we could put dishes, or a very large pan, filled with wet spaghetti on their desks, so that when they sit down and reach for something their hands will go into it and they'll think they're touching worms.
