[bksvol-discuss] Re: CSUN

I'm quite the breakable type. Foget bubble wrap, I've considered a bubble, though it's been almost a year since I've darkened the door of a hospital in two pieces :).

Perhaps I should stay cear of Marissa this week?

I'm only afraid of sabotaging Peter. He can't be all bruised for booth
duty, now can he?

MMarissa,
Are you really afraid to lead a blind person? Many people are, but
there
are some things about which you don't need to worry. Unless people are
hearing impaired as well as blind, they would not let you lead them into
walls.. Of course when a door is opening as in Dave's example it could
crack one in the head. But if you really meant you are afraid of
running a
blind person into something, I am disappointed in you. There will be
plenty
of people at csun whom you can observe and maybe come to terms with this
fear. <smile>

It's true. I'm petrified of Peter, mostly because I'm afraid of walking
him into walls and potted plants, not to mention swimming pools.
We'll be renaming CSUN "Revenge of the Klutz". Oh, and Vegas really
isn't my cup of tea.

Everyone is getting ready for CSUN and it's a lot of work. I'm
getting
ready by being in Las Vegas for my annual pre CSUN stop over. The bad
part
for me is getting up at like 6 in the morning to take care of business
before going out for some fun.
I'll be meeting another member of the staff here this weekend, but it
isn't
Marissa. In reality, she's scared of me.

Peter was mingling on the lists and he hasn't been around for a few
days.
It is really upsetting because something must be wrong. Marissa
seemed
out
of sorts today but she got all of those e-mails and that is enough to
upset
anyone. I really hhad to laugh when she ended her message on a
positive
note by thanking us for our vigilance or whatever. But that was
before
Guido wrote!

Guido,

After reading Sue's post I realize that maybe there is
a serious reason for your not going to CSUN and I
shouldn't have tried to be funny. I join with her, and
I'm sure with everyone else, in hoping that everything
is all right with you and your family.
