Perfect implies to me that every book ever written would be in the collection, but I don't think that is very feasible in the foreseeable future. Off the top of my head, though, something that comes to mind is that the science fiction and fantasy category should be split. It perpetually annoys me that those two entirely different and unrelated genres are always lumped together. In a message dated 9/27/2008 5:12:59 P.M. It might be important to all of us down the road. I was thinking this afternoon about how each of us has our own idea of what the ultimate Bookshare would be like. For some of us, that picture is well-defined. We know what the perfect Bookshare would look or sound like. For others of us, it's just a general idea of wanting things to be better. Either way, I think this list has some of the brightest, most creative people in the world on it. Yet we rarely talk about our dreams for how Bookshare could be. If we share our idea of what the perfect Bookshare would be like, we may find partners to help us with our projects, and we may even find some creative ways to do some of our ideas without Bookshare having to hire more staff or write major code. What if we could? What if we did? What if we're able to do more than we thought? I'm asking you all to dream a bit right now. Don't worry about what's currently possible or if your dream seems really big or off the wall. That's how good brainstorming starts. Sometimes what looks kind of crazy or really big at first is actually doable when combined with the skills of other people. It's impossible if you don't take time to explore it. Then again, some of the world's best ideas have been small improvements on something that already exists. So please share your thoughts and ideas, no matter how they may seem to others. What if your idea could make a difference? What if your idea helps more people find Bookshare, meaning that they have accessible books? If you feel shy about sharing, email me with your idea, and I'll remove your name and post it for you. My address is _rhyami@xxxxxxxxxx (mailto:rhyami@xxxxxxxxx) If you're drawing a blank, use some of these questions to get you started. I'll send my Bookshare dreams in a reply to this post so it won't get in the way of your ideas. I wish Bookshare would do more of? I wish Bookshare could do? I wish Bookshare had? I wish Bookshare would do less of? I wish Bookshare would add more? I would do more with Bookshare if? What I like best about Bookshare is? I could share about Bookshare more easily if? Remember, these are your dreams. No one can tell you that you're right or wrong. Monica Willyard Why not start now? **************Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges?
