Hi Liz,
As Julie said, keeping blank pages for pagination purposes is a big help.
As for describing the pictures, it'd be great if you can do that, but not a
total shame if it isn't possible. Captions would be good though, again if it
isn't too much trouble.

HTH,
Jake

  Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Books with Pictures

  Hi all:

I scanned a book that had a few pages of pictures interspersed within the
text. At the time, I didn't scan the pictures, but I'm now wondering if I
should at least explain what the pictures are? They did have captions
underneath of them on the pages themselves, but because of the pictures, they
didn't come out so well... Not having them does not, however, affect the
reading of the book. What should I do? Suggestions/opinions are welcome.

  Thanks,

  Liz
