Hi Jim,

Those files that are not rtf files need to be taken and validated by validators with the appropriate software to read them. During validation, the validator will convert the files to rtf format and the files will then be in the appropriate format. We can't just take a book from the step 1 page, open it in its appropriate software, convert it, and then resubmit. What that would do is keep the original submitter from getting credit for his submission.
