My understanding is that the publishers are offering mostly newer books with some exceptions like the Agatha Christie books. I realize that there are now publishers that have signed on with Bookshare and that we are supposed to refrain from scanning their books to avoid waste. But what about older books? Is there a chance we should scan books that could well be out of print for a long time, and if so, how do we determine this?
