Looks like Lisa will probably end up announcing the upcoming release of the new manual on Friday. Bet she tells them that we are working on it. Of course, if they actually read it, they'll find that out anyway. The directions that John Glass forwarded to me and the ones also posed on the ookshare site for volunteers says just that: do these simple steps, less than ten minutes, and that's enough. While I understand they're trying to attract people to help out and that some people are willing to settle for less than perfect scans, I was a bit intimidated when I realized that people (though this list) actually do way more than the directions specify. I propose sometime in the near future that we revise the information sent to new volunteers. Maybe this is something that could be brought up at these new chats. Take care, Laura ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shelley L.
