Oh well. I'll wait for something from support. Might have something to
do with the fact I changed my ekmail address. I'm in no hurry. If
bookshare wants my high quality books they'll contact me.

Chris,
I'm afraid your system and the Bookshare site are having some kind of
argument, and the user is the one who suffers. Maybe now that the
holidays are over, Peter in support will be able to work with you and
help figure this out. In the meantime, if you have books you want to
submit you may be able to send them to Marissa or another member of the
Bookshare staff so they can submit them for you. I'd ask first, though.
Besides Antivirus and firewalls, I can't think of what else might be
interfering with your access.
