Oh, I thought the page numbers are supposed to be there and that if I'd
formatted the headings correctly, I'd be able to see the page numbers in the
.html file. If I'm not supposed to see them, then that's OK too.

Monica,

If you downloaded the DAISY files after they were approved, you will not
find the page number at the top of the page. The page numbers are embedded
in a tag. Basically, what this means is that a DAISY reader such as Victor
Reader Soft use these tags to allow you to move to these pages by using a
command. In other words, the tagged page numbers are meant to allow you to
eaisly navigate to a particular page in the DAISY file.

I hope I haven't managed to confuse you. Let me know if you have any
questions.

Pratik

I've got the next two in the Pitt series sequence ready to take apart
and put in the auto document feeder of the scanner. I was waiting on
approval of some of my other scanning efforts to see if I'd done it right.
Everything's been approved, so it's time to get the 'ol scanner fired up
again. I think I'll start putting in an extra blank line at the top of the
pages because when I downloaded a couple of recent submissions they had page
breaks, but no page numbers.

Perhaps I can have Cardington Crescent done by tomorrow.
