So mch for salespeople! <<lol> Do not feel guilty, Shelley. You deserve
it, and if you consider it too valuable to take a chance on scanning with a
possibility of damage, I am sure no one would blame you!! <smile>

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] An unexpected book find
hi you all, I ordered a copy of The Black Stallion's Sulky Colt from
Alibris, a used book store. The description that the seller gave was a book
with no book jacket, and worn but with good pages.
So you can believe my shock when I opened the envelop and found a book that
not only had a dust jacket, but honestly from what I can tell has never been
read! To add to this, it is a first edition according to Mr, copyright
page, and the dust jacket is in great condition considering the book is from
1950. But what a find, and really cheap too as far as hard covers go at
$8.95.
But, I had to share, I feel a bit guilty opening to scan it, smile. But
will treat it with TLC and treasure it.
