Hi All,

Great to see the ideas and enthusiasm around growing our volunteer base!

Wanted to share with you a volunteer posting that we put up today on a site called VolunteerMatch that does just that -- match volunteers with opportunities in areas that interest them.

You can view the post here: http://www.volunteermatch.org/search/opp413877.jsp

We received our first referral this morning (smile).
As Volunteer Coordinator I will definitely be looking for more such opportunities to invite volunteers on board -- and your suggestions offer some wonderful starting points to explore. Moving forward I just need to be sure that any content we put out is consistent with Bookshare's policies. The posting above for example was reviewed by senior leadership at Benetech before it went live.

Together we should be able to open up the Bookshare volunteer experience to more book-lovers wanting to pay-forward the joys of reading in this unique way!

All good things,

Pavi Mehta

Hi,
If Bookshare isn't registered on volunteer.gov, do you think this would be
a good idea?

Thanks.
