Hi Cindy,
You cannot reliably check the collection. Books may have gotten
submitted twice, or there might be other replacements that are not flagged
BSO.
Catcher in the Rye for instance has a copy submitted by Peter Scialli,
in the collection, not the one Shelley improved at the request of Marissa.
This ambiguity that can arise is one reason that when you attempt to
update the lists, I take it with a very big grain of salt. Gustavo's list
are generated by querying the actual database from my understanding and so
are likely to be correct. The day or two after the lists come out, you can
probably update them with data but after that...
For instance Gustavo approved 12 English books today and several Spanish
ones. Subtracting those off my list knocks it down to just 25, not the 19
you hoped for.
Just some thoughts to keep in mind.
Jake
I took some time to check books in the admin queue against the collection, and found a lot of the books are already in in excellent condition, including, Shelley, Catcher in the Rye, unless that rating is incorrect.
Something may well be wrong, because I would think that Gustavo would know how many books are in his queue, but maybe if he asn't check some of them he doesn't know that they're duplicates.
There are some in his queue to replace Fair books in the collection, and those are some of the 19.
Way to go Gustavo!! We love you.
Cindy
