Ditto to Jake's comments as that is how I pretty much view BookShare 
books.
I would never not download a book just because of its quality rating.
Several reasons:
my interest in a book has nothing to do with the quality rating.
Quality ratings are subjective, not objective.
I rather judge for myself whether a book is readable or not usable for my 
purposes rather than accepting an arbitrary judgment.
After all, how long does it take to download and what is the cost?
I have everything to gain, and nothing to lose, by checking out the book 
for myself.
