Roger, maybe you've just picked a book that is being difficult. Occasionally
I will get a book that scans with the paragraph return at the end of every
single line. It's annoying to say the least. Children's picture books almost
always do this to me but they are short and easy to fix.

If you notice you can get two paragraph returns between paragraphs you can
do a couple of global replaces to fix it, but if you're only getting single
ones (which is what always happens to me) then it's a tedious fix.

I use OmniPage so I don't know about Open Book. Are you able to upgrade your
version to a better version? Or maybe uninstall it and reinstall it?
