There are no guidelines about this but when there are pictures with
captions, I put them in parentheses with the word "picture" first so that
they will be somewhat set apart from the other text.

Will, if ou *are* someone who cannot see, then you have to think about
something else. <Giggle> These are picts of folks who are over weight and
have lost a bunch of weight and the like, and some are probably something
else. Sometimes they have text with them; if I can discern it I gather it
together and put it below the other text; but that's not always an option.
