[bksvol-discuss] Re: A Temporary Solution

Okay, just as long as the book really looks good and ends up in the
collection that's all I care about. I'll take any help I can get. Regards,
Kim.

Kim, my solution would work anyway. A third party could scan the missing
pages and submit them with a hold for the proofreader. The point isn't who
could scan the pages. The point is that the pages would be uploaded legally
by whoever scans them.

Well, what if your submitter no longer has a copy of the book so pages can
be re-scanned? The submitter of the file I was working with no longer had
the book and couldn't re-scan anything. I think I like your solution if the
submitter retains the book, but what if it (the book) is a library book and
he/she can't get it? Then that poses a problem for everyone. Regards, Kim.
