Interesting, and sad. With my epson scanner, I can scan and sasve a page at a time. Then when I'm ready to put them together, I copy and past each page to the one that precedes it, putting in the page break , of course. This is with a more bare bones Fine readers. Witht he first one I had I could do several pages at a time and save them sequentially. you're right, though it's labor intensive. hard on the shoulder, which is why now I just proof except when providing missing pages to people Cindy Wish List (i.e., books wanted added to the collection) and books-being-scanned list available at sites below Wish List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Bookshare+Wish+List Books Being Scanned List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Books+Being+Scanned+List --- On Thu, 8/13/09, Lynn I <lynnskyi@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Lynn I <lynnskyi@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: 2 pages at a time. However, there are some books that scan better in "single-page" mode. I don't have a formula for determining this, it's just one of the things I change if necessary. I prefer two-page scanning because it's less labor intensive. If I have to scan in single-page mode, I have to insert page breaks manually, and it can sometimes be interesting trying to figure out where the page break should be. Anyway there's my penny for your thoughts. I think I'm going crazy reading this science book. Blessings. Lynn I
