Hi Liz,
In the future, it would be good to remove the layout info from the kes
file before you change it to rtf. Bookshare sometimes doesn't like rtf
files produced by K1000, and layout info is apparently at least a
significant part 
of the problem. You also don't need to keep the original file name. You
can make it something nice and short and easier to type when you're
typing in the file to upload. Now, since this has already been made into
an 
rtf file, try calling up the file in MS Word. Make some innocuous change
somewhere, like adding a space where nobody would care about it. Then
resave the file as an rtf using ms Word and try to reupload.
