hi all,
 This is to announce that the second talk in the Linux programming
series being organised by BITLug has been scheduled.
Heads up, 5th sem students, this one is for you.

Brief TOC follows:

* Basic intro to C++ (objects, inheritance, polymorphism, really lite )
* Basics of C++ STL (concept of containers, iterators and standard
        algos, why/why not STL etc)
* Containers commonly used (by us) for the text editor (vector/ list of
        strings/chars and other weird combos)
* Small demo of STL container usage

*    Basic concepts of ncurses
* Starting off with ncurses, with a small demo. (just the basics of
        init, windows, reading /writing chars to windows etc.)
* Integration of front and back end.

  We will, of course, be doing these things live in front of the
audience, so the usual edit-compile-run-debug cycle will follow..
