1. Inter process communication (IPC)
2. talk daemon and clients (for users of the same m/c)
   -The idea is to allow users of a machine to communicate=20
    among one another. It is similar to yahoo chat. It is just=20
    that yahoo is a distributed server. The app can be extended
    for this later on. For IPC, we use shared memory and message
    queues.
3. C, some idea about IPC, and client-server fundas
   Knowledge about these topics will be an added advantage, not an
   utter necessity.
4. A daemon can be associated with doing the connection setup b/w
   two users and then hand over the entire responsibility to the
   ppl who chat. This way, the daemon is not burdened to handle data.
   Take a look at Gtalk, if you are interested in the GUI version
   of this. Original idea comes from the Unix talk program.
