Upon my sister Julie's insistence, she and her husband Jimmy, Rhonda,
and myself went to the Central Kentucky wildlife management area south
of Richmond Saturday night to observe the Woodcocks displaying. Numerous
birds were seen and heard despite the windy and cold conditions.
Yesterday I observed a Red-tailed hawk setting on a power line. I am not
sure I have seen one on power line before.
