[birdky] Re: waxwings

Here in Shelby County we have seen the adult cedar
waxwings feeding their young in the summer, but we
have never actually seen their nests. They are a most
beautiful bird!
We live on a fairly busy road and one summer a waxwing
was struck by a car. It broke my heart, but we did get
to examine the bird closely. The tips of the wings do
look exactly like they have been dipped in red wax.
