Yesterday (Oct 1) as I passed by my back field pond in the truck carrying some
posts to a work site, a flock of about 20 Tree Swallows were coursing back and
forth over the pond. They got insulted when I stopped the truck to watch them
and headed for another pond. I walked by all my ponds a little while later but
they were no where to be found.
