[birdky] the sloughs

Alison and I rode over to the Sloughs WMA today with my sister Ann Morgan &
Marian Morgan. The wind was bitter and many of the roads were off limits for
the winter but at one pull off we saw the arrival of a large flock of Canada
Geese and another large flock of Snow Geese flying over. A few Greater
White-fronted Geese were feeding close by among many Canada Geese and Mallards.
At this same stop I got the scope for a while on 2 immature Bald Eagles that
seemed to be playing tag with each other. At other stops we saw some Pintails
and Hooded Mergansers. Many Red-tailed Hawks and Kestrels.
