[birdky] squeeze in a bird count april 24 if you can

Several of us are going to conduct a spring bird count in McCreary
County April 24.  We'd prefer not to have scheduled this count on the
Friday of the KOS spring meeting, but circumstances prevented our
conducting it any other day, so we know there will not be a lot of folks
who can make it to the count and then go on to Mammoth Cave for the
meeting.

 

However, if you have an inclination to take part in this count despite
its unfortunate timing, please drop a line and let me know, and I will
see about setting you up with a territory in this little birded county
that has over half of its acreage in public land.

 

Observers who can work from dawn to noon are welcome.

 

Accommodations available at Parkland Motel on Rt. 127 and perhaps a few
others that I am working on.
