Several flocks of Sandhill Cranes were seen flying overhead at the Waste Management landfill off of Outer Loop today between 8:30 and 9. The smallest group was around 25 and the largest around 100. Ocassionally the whole group would break up and fly in circles before lining back up and flying off. Very cool. Ryan Ankeny Louisville
