[birdky] osprey on Nolin Lake

My wife and I took the opportunity to bird around Nolin Lake for a few hours
yesterday morning. Our "bird of the day" was an osprey at the same location
where I saw one last April. This was at the campground at Dog Creek. We also
observed an osprey, very likely the same bird, a few miles away at the Wax boat
marina.
Other birds yesterday included rose-breasted grosbeaks, green heron, two
cormorants (I have not previously seen these at Nolin Lake), 25 pine warblers,
63 bluebirds, as well as many of the usual suspects. Two Tennesse warblers were
among the few fall migrants.
I saw about 25 Tennessee warblers this morning at home, along with
black-throated green, chestnut-sided, and palm warblers.
Get out and enjoy this amazing weather.
