I picked up a couple of new birds for the property (Scott Co) on Monday, a Barn
Owl and a Chuck-will's-Widow. You never know what you will find when you go out
for a walk. Went back out to look for them both today, but it looks as if they
did not stay around. Also stopped into Spindletop (Lexington) while running
errands and found a couple of Bobolinks, a Grasshopper Sparrow and several
Solitary Sandpipers.
