Janet Howard of Owensboro, Ky. and I, Joyce Porter of Falls of Rough
Ky were at the Lake Barkley Dam this afternoon. We saw [1 adult Scissor-
tail Flycatcher and 3 juvenile Scissor-tails]. They were at the north end of 
the mowed park-like area, high in a Cottonwood tree near the road to the 
boat launching ramp.

Also seen in the area were:

75 to 100 Black-crowned Night Herons
5 Great Blue Herons(one of which had a lot of black on its chest)

Gulls were scarce.

East in a field gathered around a herd of grazing cattle were:

50 to 75 Cattle Egrets. Jlp
