Dr. Gary Ritchison has created a page with images of the Audubon's Shearwater present above Kentucky Dam on July 12 and associated with Hurricane Dennis. The first link will take you to the KOS Photo Page, or you may access it directly by the second link. Be sure and click on the links below the image for additional stills. http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos/photos.htm http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos/audubons_shearwater_1.html The images are a series of stills lifted from video obtained as the bird did a fly-by along the face of the dam. They show the shearwater in various positions where field marks can be seen. I believe this is the first record of Audubon's Shearwater in the United States away from a coastal state. David L.
