[birdky] late posting at Minor Clark Hatchery

Sorry I'm posting this so late. Monday, Feb. 19, on my way to the hatchery
for some afternoon birding I saw 6 Sandhill Cranes circling to land in the
fields across the river. Then at the hatchery I was realy surprised to see one
single Snow bunting, A life bird for me. Also seen were 2 Canvasbacks and
several Hooded Mergansers and Buffleheads. At the dam were lots of Canada
geese along with at least 4 Snow Geese and possibly 1 rosses. There was also a
barnyard goose and maybe an immature White fronted. Lots of Ringed Billed
Gulls, Coots, and a few Hering Gulls Mike Wright Morehead
