Joe and I took a nice drive this morning down Route 20 to Petersburg.
Wow, that road wasn't as clean as I thought it would have been!
We saw several small flocks of horned larks nearby here at the Hunt Club horse
lots and some in the town of Petersburg.
But then went to the end of Aurora Ferry Road off Route #20 and found a nice
BIG flock of 250+ and right close to the road. Out of the flock, we counted at
least 9 beautiful snow buntings and at least 2 Lapland Longspurs. Also, a
Northern Harrier flew by us there.
Good Birding!
