[birdky] ice storm

I've found several dead hawks at Bernheim that were killed during the ice
storm. I was wondering if anyone else had seen a lot of dead birds, especially
large predators, and if anyone has any theories of why they were killed. I was
wondering if maybe because how quickly the ice formed that ice built up on
their wings and they couldn't fly, or maybe a branch fell on them and they
couldn't get out of the way. Another theory is they couldn't find enough to eat
with so much ice covering everything. I'm curious if anyone has any theories,
or maybe saw birds killed that could answer this question.
