[birdky] forays in the upper cumberland region during 2009

Upper Cumberland Region forays (i.e., breeding bird surveys conducted
using bird atlas protocols) will be conducted this year as follows:

 

Pickett County (TN): May 22-25 (Memorial Day week-end); this effort will
repeat a foray conducted in Pickett County (24 blocks) during 1979;
Robbie Hassler, who took part in the 1979 foray, will be participating
in the 2009 foray, along with several other UCR folks.

 

Jackson County (TN): May 29-June 1; the first-ever foray in this little
birded county of 40 blocks.

 

Clinton County (KY): June 12-15; the first-ever foray in this little
birded county of 24 blocks.
