Friends on the Ohio river who live next door to the Executive Inn Hotel in downtown Owensboro phoned to say there were herons in their front yard tree. Shortly I found a pair of juvenile Black-Crowned Night-Herons. They were last seen going into the overgrown area on the river bank. Janet Howard Owensboro
