Just to let you all know, I will be leading bird walks at The Arboretum in
Lexington on Tuesday mornings beginning tomorrow at 8 a.m. for the next four
Tuesdays. Bring your binoculars and meet in front of the Visitor Center.
The Arboretum is located at 500 Alumni Drive on the campus of the University
of KY, between Tates Creek and Nicholasville Roads.
On another note, I heard and then saw my first scarlet tanager, hooded
warbler, and wood thrush of the season yesterday at a morel workshop near
Berea. Thrills!
