Our late evening walk through the neighborhood last night brought us upon a
group of killdeer that included 2 different family's young. It was getting dark
and they were running everywhere but there were 3-4 adults, 5-6 young that were
nearly grown, and at least 2 that were much younger. An adult done her best to
lead us away with the old broken wing trick, it worked on Rhonda, haven't seen
her since.
