I spent a couple of hours at Wolf Creek Dam/Rowena Road, Lake Cumberland this
afternoon.
Highlights:
Sandhill Cranes 21-22
WHOOPING CRANE 1 flying with the sandhill flock
Red-breasted Mergansers 475 (at least) in 3 flocks
Horned Grebe 74
Surf Scoter at least 4 in a flock of 20+ (They were distant and bobbing up and
down with the waves. I could only make out at least 4 males.)
Birding smiles . . . . .
