[birdky] White wing Scoters

I birded the Ohio River this morning to early afternoon on Feb. 28th. there
were the two white-wing scoters were they have been seen, above the falls area,
plus 2 more white wing scoters at the big 4 bridge on the Ind.side. Other
waterfowl of interest were northern pintail, green wing teal, greater and
lesser scaup, bufflehead, common goldeneye, hooded and red breasted merganser,
pied billed and horned grebes.
From there I went to a lake on Mayfair Rd off river rd. in Louisville and
with half of the lake still being frozen there were numerous northern shovlers,
wigeons, northern pintails, redheads, and a few lesser scaup, ring necks,
hooded mergansers, gadwalls and canvasback.
