I talked to a couple of guys working for the Dept of Fish and Wildlife who were 
trimming vegetation with machetes at Long Point along the intersection of hwys 
94 and 1282.  They said there were 4 or 5 armadillos in the tangle and they had 
picked one up by the tail.  I've seen a couple of road-kills in Kentucky but 
think it would be cool to see a live one...may take my machete next time.
