[birdky] Tri colored Heron

That must be what I have seen twice up here on Happy Ridge.  I had something 
fly right in front of me that had that "s" neck and was dark, almost black.  I 
tried looking it up and couldn't figure out what it was.  I was going to post 
here and ask anyone if they had seen something like that.
It also flew up from my pond the other day and I said "there it goes again".. I 
want to know what it is.  So thanks for the post, I did a google and it appears 
to be the same Heron you have seen.
Unless there is any other  bird out there that has that deep "s" neck, long 
legs and is dark in color..
